The mechanics of the chats serve the same combat system and map. This series of games has been an economic success. Having sold more than 154 million copies and subsequent versions always have innovations in visual and music compared to older versions. An example of the improvement in doing is the application of full-motion video (FMV) to create more realistic models in versions after 2010.
After the first part of the series, follow-up games were released with nothing like the games before it. Many games in the series have localized in the North American and European markets, on electronic console platforms, PCs, and mobile phones. As of November 2016, major Final Fantasy through Final Fantasy XV and sequels and appendices has been released and confirmed in development. Most old games have been remade or re-released on multiple platforms.
