Advance Guardian Heroes is a beat ’em up video game released directly by Treasure for Game Boy Advance. The game was released on September 22, 2004, in Japan, September 14, 2004, in North America, and February 18, 2005, in Europe. However, later versions in the US and Europe are published by Ubisoft.

The story told in the game is a continuation of the events following the events of Guardian Heroes. After the Undead Hero was rested in the grave, the Emerging Heroes became the perfect warriors of Sky Spirit. Nicole, Serena, and Valgar joined Sky Spirit, while Han and Genjiro refused. Randy escaped back to earth alone, leaving Han and Genjiro in a defeat to former teammates.

Years later, Zur revived Kanon and used the item’s power to take over the world. The small number of soldiers who tried to call upon the hidden strength of the ancient Undead hero.

In the game, you will take on the characters’ roles to fight previous heroes and earn their strength. In the end, against the ruler of heaven, all the heroes gather to defeat it and then leave for the Other World.

Advance Guardian Heroes is a side-scrolling game, which means the characters can perform different attacks. Normal moves will include counter-attacks and general air jumping. Some magic attacks will drain the opponent’s energy. If you feel the standard game mode is too slow, you can look to faster versions Hyper mode for a more intense experience. The game also features many other minigame levels like that tournament and their boss battles. The game mode only allows up to 2 players.

Unlike its predecessors, Advance Guardian Heroes has allowed players to move wider and smoother forwards or backward on the screen. Several new dance moves have been included to increase the difficulty. And more engaging for games like aerial flying and homing jumping. Basically, the gameplay is almost similar to the game of the same genre, beat’em up, but quite prominent in the movement details and a few improvements compared to the previous version.
