Mega Man Battle Network is one of Capcom’s Mega Man series and debuted in 2001 on the Game Boy Advance.
The story is pretty out there, you are a boy, and you have a PET, not an animal. In your case, it is Rockman, and you are in the game to keep the peace between the real world and the cyber world. In the game, you go into computers and other electrical appliances and defeat bad guys and stuff. In the real world, you are a boy. In the cyber world, you play as Rockman. Overall the story is awesome.
Happily, this MegaMan game varies from the other MegaMan games. While most of the other MegaMan games have remained as the side scroller genre this game plays like an RPG. When entering a battle you receive your 3 X 3 a part of the arena & the enemies receive theirs. From here you move from tile to tile dodging all shots & firing back with your equipped buster or the chips you have obtained from fighting or trading. This game is somewhat long & should keep you occupied.
This game’s controls are straightforward to get used to. The only thing you have to get used to is making good strategies beforehand or on your feet while fighting a never before seen opponent. The A button is to shoot your special weapons set up at the beginning of the match choosing from chips on a menu. If you press, add when you will be given a choice of more chips(5 more). You may add up to 2 times, giving you a total of 15 chips. The B button is to use your buster. In the beginning, the buster will remain partially useless, but as you upgrade your Net Navi, it will serve better & stronger purposes. The L/R buttons are for bringing up your chip menu during battle. As I’ve explained, MegaMan has been changed positively. So those familiar with the MegaMan series, please check this game out.
