Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is an action-adventure video game published by Electronic Arts based on J.K. Rowling’s 1998 novel Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secret.
The game’s plot is almost extremely close to the original stories in the second Harry Potter book. It has a lot of funny and engaging conversations with many different animations. You will feel delighted if you are a hardened fan of this series.
The gameplay is exciting. With RPG style battles, you learn lots of spells, and most of them are upgradeable. Apart from the main game, you have 101 Famous Witches and wizard cards, tons of subquests and minigames, and over 100 non-playable characters to talk to (Beat that GBA). You are set a lot of varied tasks, unlike the fetch, fetch that style of the GBA version. One perfect thing is that, instead of random battles, which can be so annoying, you have little blue clouds which you walk into if you want to fight. This is a novel idea also featured in the Philosopher’s stone, which is helpful.
This game will last about two weeks if you play it hard enough, and even then, you have to find all of the famous witches and wizards cards, complete the subquests and unlock all the minigames. For all of this, you are rewarded amply.
Graphics and Sounds
The graphics of this game have been dramatically improved compared to what’s in Philosophers Stone. Most of the characters are unable to walk altogether. The way they walk seems rheumatic, and everything feels colorful, and the cartoon drawings are also extremely detailed. In battles, it has more spite. In other words, the game pushed the graphics capabilities of handheld games to its limit. The sound suits everywhere you go, as it is very atmospheric and eerie. In this game, the sound draws you in.
