Baten Kaitos Origins is a sequel to Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean, which were released by Namco in February 2006. This version has a lot of changes such as improved gameplay and sharp graphics system that will make players excited.

The gameplay

Basically, the players will play the role of a guard god, who guides the Kalas team to explore the mysterious kingdoms on a large island in the air. Magnus is the most important part of creating unique gameplay. Now, the players can use Magnus deck for all characters instead of owning a separate deck in the previous version. This helps the players focus resources well, they do not have to find balance the resources between the characters. Besides, creating the ultimate Magnus becomes easier. The ultimate Magnus can create extremely powerful attacks to destroy enemies.

Moreover, the players can make use of the blank cards well. When collecting items after a battle, empty cards can help you store items. In addition, they can store 3 times the regular cards and save time organizing items. Besides, your cards will be automatically recycled, and they do not disturb players like the old version. The map will have more new places to explore. In which, Sedna is a new land with new residents, and you can explore it at the end of the game. The Magnus possesses new skills and helps players create more tactics. The upgrades of this version have significantly changed the gameplay. It makes players feel comfortable.

The graphics

In addition to improved gameplay, the graphics system is advanced. All details are sharper and vivid. You will feel that you are in a new world with different races. Skill effects have not changed much from the previous version. However, battles are still dramatic with more skill effects in each attack.
