Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness was developed to continue the Pokémon Colosseum’s event. The challenges will continue to be performed at Orre. There are some new additions (providing additional wild Pokémon for players to collect). This game was available by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company in 2005 on the GameCube. The main character is Michael, and his journey revolves around rescuing Professor Krane and defeating Master Greevil (the head of the Cipher Agents and wants to use Shadow Pokémon for evil purposes).
The Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness’s task is to require the player to defeat the villains and collect Shadow Pokémon (similar to Pokémon Colosseum). There are 83 Shadow Pokémon for players to collect. Their arrest will be done by a device, the Snag Machine. In particular, there is a villain, Mirror B. that will frequently appear in the game. You cannot collect his Shadow Pokémon. However, you will collect Pokémon of Mirror B. at the final stage after completing the collecting 82 Shadow Pokémon’s task.
Besides, after collecting a Pokémon Shadow, the player has to purify the Pokémon. The purification allows players to use them more stable, and Pokémon can get experience points to level up. Note, in the dark state, Pokémon will not receive experience points after completing the battle and disobedient coaches. This is done in two different ways. The first is to take them to the Purification Room. In this room, you can conduct purification of many Shadow Pokémon at the same time. The second is to use three purified Pokémon to fight a Shadow Pokémon. With this process, Shadow Pokémon will be purified and gain experience points.
Similar to the previous, this game has still Mt. Battle. Coming to this arena, players have the opportunity to face 100 different coaches to discover the Pokémon’s power. With 100 coaches, the game will offer 10 different areas. Each arena will have 10 coaches to beat. At the end of each zone will bring special training (tycoon) to defeat. Battles allow the player to summon two Pokémon to use. So, you can bring a maximum of 6 Pokémon.
