Duke Nukem 64 is an interesting game, which takes players to the future context. In which aliens forces invaded the earth. In the journey to free the planet, players have to destroy a lot of monsters. Like Doom, you will become aliens’ nightmare. Besides, the game provide you with many great weapons, including Shotgun, grenade launcher, Microwave Expander, Shrink Ray, Pipe Bomb, Plasma Cannon and Laser Tripbomb. Most of them are manufactured by the government to deal with aliens. However, these weapons are not suitable for ordinary people to use because they have great destructive power.
Initially, the game only provides you a pistol to fight enemies. During the game, you can collect new weapons at many other locations on the map. In addition, the number of ammunition of each weapon will be limited. To gain more ammo and continue the journey, you need to destroy as many enemies as possible. When enemies die, they will drop bullets, and you can pick up them by approaching the dead bodies. Besides the plot mode, the game offers players two other modes, including deathmatch and co-op. In deathmatch, four players can join at the same time by dividing the screen into 4 parts. In battle, each player’s mission is to destroy the enemy as many times as possible to win. Each player will be shown at a random position on the map. Also, they must constantly move to search for weapons and enemies. There will be a time limit for battle. Besides, the Co-op mode is a place for players to coordinate with each other and complete the common mission.
Unlike the previous two versions, Duke Nukem and Duke Nukem II, this version uses the most modern 3D technology. Players will get more new experiences when they have ever played the other two. Also, the weapon systems are modified and upgraded to help players have more options when destroying monsters. New options in the settings also help players get a better experience. You can restart your previous game progress to get more bonuses. Moreover, players can instantly switch from single-player mode to co-op mode with just a few simple steps.
