With ingenious control and the patience requirements for completing tasks, In-Fisherman Bass Hunter 64 is one of the most interesting single-player fishing game. It was developed by GearHead Entertainment and was released by Take-Two Interactive in 1999. This game has only 1 game mode, Fish for Fun. Besides, the challenge system will be arranged in different areas for you to conquer. Also, you must conquer the areas in a certain order. To unlock new areas, you must complete the task required in the previous area. In the game, there are 2 large areas for you to explore, including Chain Butler Lake in Florida and Lake Arthur in Pennsylvania. In which, Lake Chain Butler in Florida has 3 small areas: Lake Chase, Lake Palmer and Lake Butler. With Lake Arthur in Pennsylvania, there are also 3 areas including Hidden River, Shannon Run and Dutch Hollow.

During the game, you can play with a small boat and a few fishing equipment. With this boat, you can freely move to the unlocked areas and go fishing freely. When fishing, you have to choose the right bait and fishing rod. After that, gamers can immediately throw it under the water and wait for the fish coming. After the bait is thrown into the water, the screen will be divided into two smaller ones. In which, the upper screen will display the states and phenomena in the water (ports, building…); the lower screen will display the scenery in the water (fish, logs, moss, stumps…). Besides, on the right side of the screen, the game will display a special status bar to help you know the depth of the fishing area. Each area will have a different depth. From there, you must choose the right fishing rods and bait to be able to catch many different types of fish.

At the beginning of the game, you can choose a female or male character to use. In the first stages, you will be provided with basic fishing tools. After accumulating enough bonus points, you can buy new equipment in the store. Besides, gamers will explore 6 areas of the game in 2 different game modes, including Fun mode and Tournament. The Fun mode allows you to fish freely and do not need to do a task. However, Tournament will bring a fixed mission system that you need to complete to unlock new areas. Before participating in the Tournament, you will visit the shop to buy fishing equipment (unlock new boats, equip new fishing rods or bait).
