Pokémon Stadium 2 is a strategy video game developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64. It features all 251 Pokémon from the first and second generations of the franchise.
The same as pokemon Stadium 1. You have the same options and commands. The only downside is you may become very frustrated with this game. Say you make an attack. Then your opponent goes twice. That will happen more than once and is annoying. Sometimes you will think that the computer cheats. And it does (kind of). Say they cast paralyzing move on you. Then when you are about to kill them, the paralyze takes effect. You may think it’s just my luck. It’s not actually. It seems as if they cheat. This Will Frustrate You!
The controls are menu-driven. All you do is push the correct button for the menu you wish to use (red, blue, or green), then you press and hold the R button to pick which move you want to use or which Pokemon you want to send into battle. After that, push the correct C button.
Each command has its description next to its button, so you don’t have to play around with trial and error to figure out what the buttons do. (although you may still hit the C button for the wrong move from time to time.) You also don’t have to fiddle with a hard-to-use camera!
This is the best part! You can play this for a while before getting bored with it. You can have battles, mini-games, play your Gameboy game, take a quiz, and a whole lot more. If you played number one a lot, you would notice that most of the game is the same except for the addition of gold/silver, which may bore you.
