Following the unique battle challenges of Super Smash Bros. Melee (2001), Super Smash Bros. Brawl was released by Nintendo for Nintendo Wii in 2008. This game was developed under the collaboration between Sora Ltd. and Game Arts. Besides, Brawl’s version has more characters than Melee. However, someone of the Melee version will not appear in the Brawl version. Like its predecessor, you have to attack and kick the opponent out of the ring to win the final. Besides individual challenges, the developer also offers multiplayer battles, allowing four players to compete against each other.

Character System

Compared to Melee, Brawl has made many changes in image quality. The Wii platform allows games to achieve consistent frame rates. The context is diverse, with many different themes. Besides, the movement of the character is upgraded, allowing you to move faster, and each character is added several new battle skills effects.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, there are 37 characters. Besides, there will be some new characters, such as Ike (Fire Emblem Series), Diddy Kong (Donkey Kong Series), Solid Snake (Metal Gear), Lucas (Earthbound Series) … This version still uses the percentage measurement system as the previous version. In which, the maximum damage that a character can receive is 999%. Besides the basic combat skills of each character, this game also provides four special attack skills for each character. Compared to normal skills, special skills can deal more damage, but it will require complex control operations. Along with the skillful use of combat techniques, players can also use many support tools to defeat the enemy. In particular, this game also brings two new items, Poké Balls and Assist Trophies. After activating these two items, some characters will be summoned to assist you in the battle.

Game mode

Also, Super Smash Bros. Brawl brings you many attractive modes such as Classic Mode, Boss Battles, All-Star Mode, and Events. In Classic Mode, you will choose any character to fight in pre-designed stages. Boss Battles and All-Star Mode are designed with the same feature, in which you have one life and must defeat many bosses. Next, Events will provide multiple battles with specific requirements to complete a match. There are 41 events for you to conquer. Besides events for the single-player challenge, the game also offers 21 events for a two-player mode.
