The game content
The content of this game is designed after the events of Resident Evil 2 (1998) and Resident Evil 3 Nemesis (1999). The main character is Claire Redfield, whose journey of finding the missing brother, Chris Redfield (was caught by Umbrella). After escaping from Raccoon City, Claire managed to break into an Umbrella facility in Paris. However, she was detected by Umbrella’s security forces. They arrested her and took her to a mysterious prison on an island called Rockfort, in the Southern Ocean. After a long time being kept on the island, Claire was suddenly freed. Then, Claire found out that the prison had been infected with Virus T, and she had to find a way to escape from this place safely. During the escape, she met another prisoner, Steve Burnside. After that, the two worked together to survive.
Like the first three versions of the series, Resident Evil Code: Veronica X continues to bring shooting and survival challenges to players. You still face scary zombies and need to cross many different areas to complete the game. When participating in challenges, players will have to participate in many activities such as fighting, climbing, moving objects… Besides, each challenge will have a separate goal.
Along with completing the challenges, players have to collect equipment and support items to use during the battle. In it, the player’s basic equipment is a shotgun to kill zombies and can use new weapons at later stages of the game. In addition to fighting, characters also suffer damage from zombies or collisions with acids, fire on the way. At that time, you can use support items to recover, such as herbs or combine many herbs to create new medicine.
The game mode
In addition to the story gameplay, the manufacturer also prepared a game called Battle Mode, which will be unlocked when the player completes all the challenges of the story. In this game, players will be taken to a fixed location and must survive many attacks of the enemy. The longer you survive, the greater the achievements you will get.
Compared to previous versions of Resident Evil, Resident Evil Code: Veronica X has better graphics quality.
