Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is an action and adventure game. It was available by Krome Studios for three platforms as PlayStation 2, Nintendo Wii and PlayStation Portable. In addition, LucasArts also developed this game to serve two other advanced platforms, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. This game was first released on September 16, 2008 for North America. One day later, on September 17, the game was available in Australia and Southeast Asia. Next, the European can experience it on September 19.


The game’s context takes place in the middle of two films, Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. After successfully building the Galactic Empire, Master Sith – Emperor Palpatine asked Darth Vader to find and destroy a Jedi, Kento Marek. He is said to have successfully escaped from the Great Jedi Purge – Order 66, currently hiding in the planet Kashyyyk.

After finding and killing Marek, Darth Vader discovered that this Jedi has a son (Galen Marek), and he felt The Force. Therefore, Vader accepted the boy as Padawan and did not let the Emperor know. Over many years of training, Vader decided to send StarKiller (Galen’s new name) to many different areas to carry out his tasks. In particular, the ultimate and most important goal that Vader wants StarKiller to accomplish is to assassinate Palpatine to replace him in control of the galaxy.


In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, players will control the main character StarKiller, the basic weapon to use Lightsaber and the supernatural power is The Force. Besides, players will have to complete the challenges with a third perspective. Along with melee weapons, Lightsaber, at certain stages also offer shooting challenges to perform.
