Sunset Riders is a side-scrolling run and gun video game developed and released by Konami as a coin-operated video game on the JAMMA arcade platform in 1991
This is a nice Cowboy or Wild West game. You take the role of any four characters to help go through the towns and areas, capturing and, in all cases, fighting criminals and to receive a big reward for each one. You can choose either Steve, Billy, Bob, or Cormano to take along and put the criminals behind bars. This is a two-player game, so take along a friend to help put these criminals away for good in the sheriff’s office and claim the big rewards.
The problem is well distributed among three levels: Easy, Normal, and Hard. Many players will play easy because it is a lot of fun for beginners, experts, and just playing the game to collect a great score. Normal and Hard will lower the number of lives and continues you will have and make the game more life-like. In these levels, enemies are more cunning and frequent. They have better accuracy, and their bullets are real quick, so watch yourself and develop quick reflexes to go the distance. All levels are a lot of fun.
The sound is impressive and believable. They are that of a real western atmosphere, and many are natural. The firing of guns, the dynamite explosions, the rocks falling, and the gushing water all sound great. The voices are well-spoken, but some of the characters mumble, making it a bit hard to understand. This is to show realistically how people talk. The sounds are made nicely.
