Ancient Magic is a SNES game released by Hot B in 1993 and especially considering its release date, not likely to inspire even the most devoted RPG fans with looks, sound, and Its overall outdated feel.

Gameplay

You are chosen to play the role of a boy and a girl who died to become the most powerful corpse in the world. After negotiations with your parents, you are allowed to go to the famous magic city to study at a famous magic school. This way of building this gameplay gives us familiarity when it appeared in another famous game series, Harry Porter. However, in a sense, the gameplay of this game is much simpler with relatively clichéd character development.

In battles, you will be faced with not being able to see the enemy and main character on the same screen. Therefore, you will have to continuously pan the camera to the sides to be able to control the battle. Similar to the 7th saga, you will also receive different required pieces depending on the quest you receive. Ancient Magic has a lot of different battles at different levels. You will not be able to get through the matches easily even on the easiest level. You always have to pay attention and keep an eye on what’s going on in front of you because it’s always easy to get killed by nearby enemies. Why? because you will easily be lulled to sleep by many different situations. The hard work of attacking an opponent by pressing the A key repeatedly will easily make you stabbed by other anonymous opponents.

Graphics

The game is similarly bleak in terms of interface. This game will be relatively similar to its NES version. The towns are relatively lively and are a shelter for your monster opponents. The game colors are mainly brown and blue. After you win the towns, you will be greeted with peaceful images.
