Final Fight 3 is a side-scrolling beat ’em up by Capcom originally released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1995
The same basic story that appears in all beat-em-ups; a gang appears, destroys the city, and the good guys have to save the city. Yawn.
The gameplay of this game consists of you having selectable three characters. You can choose a muscular dude who is very strong and powerful, but slow. Then there are two other dudes, including Guy, who uses ninja martial arts to fight the bad guys. Each of the characters got kicks and punches and throws that they can use against the baddies; they also have this ‘special’ move that you should use sparingly because it is powerful and does massive damage. It takes away your life each time you use it.
The bad guys in this game are just your typical looking street punks and thugs. Sometimes they wield knives and baseball bats and other weapons you have to defend yourself against. I noticed this game and many other games for the SNES because your bad guys just change colors and have more health as you advance in the game.
The game is fun because you have two players to cooperate and fight against the enemies. It is fun because you want to beat them a whole game, but there isn’t much anything to complete, and it gets boring – just like a lot of others beat them up the type of games. But what makes this game different is that the gameplay is fun.
The control is excellent. All moves except the Supers are easy to execute, even the running moves and jumping grapples. Overall, the controls are perfect, everything can be done without a problem except for the Supers.
