This is the Japanese version of Konami’s International Superstar Soccer Deluxe…only this one has twice as many teams as its US counterpart and tons of Japanese voices!
There are some different game-modes, including training, open game (with the choice from a league, tournament, and a single match. There are also scenarios, and there are all-star games. In a single game, you can almost edit anything. Things like the stadium you play in (every stadium varies), the opponent’s goalkeeper skill, the starting condition of your players, the weather, etc. For the cheaters, you can also edit the opponent’s number of players and opponents’ condition.
The difficulties vary from level 1 to level 5, in which 1 is the lowest and 5 is the highest. No offense, but at level 2, the opponent really sucks, on level 3, it’s a little better, and at level 4 or 5, you finally get some opposition. You should never try level 1 because level 2 was too easy, and winning with 10-0 is not my kind of game. But I have to say that level 3 is pretty hard at first, and it might be wise to start at level 2. But after you win there some matches, the best thing to do is try level 3. Otherwise, you’ll never get better.
